Tori Kelly’s Purple Skies Tour in Denver, CO

Tori Kelly brought an exhilarating performance to Denver, CO on her Purple Skies Tour.  If you don’t know, her sound is a mix of soulful R&B and infectious pop.

Her opener, Maisy Kay, gave a euphoric mood with her song “Love is a God”, while wearing a dazzling butterfly corset and rocking a butterfly mic.

Starting the show, Tori came on stage through some purple mist which gave a perfect representation of the purple skies from her album. She brought out her guitar and played some of her classic hits like “I’ll find you” and “Should've been us”. She also played songs from her recent album Tori such as “Diamonds”, “Oceans”, and “Same girl” that captivated the audience.  Each song, you can hear and see the crowd singing along, throwing their heart shaped hands up at Tori.

Kelly included the crowd as a choir set in her latest song “thing u do” which was a soulful thing to do and to hear.  The crowd was enthralled by Tori’s majestic vocals and her well rehearsed performance.  Throughout the show, you could hear chants from the audience screaming and repeating the word “TK”.  Tori graced her fans with a new song coming out called “Distance”, which was a beautiful R&B song that I know fans who didn't go to her show will greatly appreciate. Tori ended the show with an encore of my favorite song “Missing u.”

Overall, the concert was amazing, you can tell the show was well rehearsed and detail oriented, all the way down to the sound and lights.  Tori Kelly has an angelic voice that makes going to the concert worth it.
