Proper NYE/NYD brings the heat to San Diego with their lineup announcement
Since Proper’s debut back in 2022, San Diego has been making its mark as the place to be to ring in the new year for EDM fans and partygoers alike. FNGRS CRSSD has continued to bring the heat to San Diego, with their fall CRSSD festival selling out within days of tickets going on sale. They didn’t limit themselves there, as they announced phase 1 of the Proper NYE/NYD fiery lineup, returning to Petco Park on December 31 and January 1.
This multi-stage festival is sure to reel in numbers to San Diego as it showcases some of the biggest names in the EDM scene today. Immediate standouts include AC Slater, Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla, Elderbrook, Eli Brown, Eric Prydz, John Summit, and Mau P, and at least three more artists to be announced, giving fans something to buzz about.
Fans are equally as eager to see Grammy-nominated Dom Dolla hit the stage again after his sold-out show at Petco Park last August. He isn’t the only familiar face returning to San Diego, as the queen of techno Charlotte de Witte also returns after playing CRSSD Fest last fall. Witte, who has made history as the first female and techno artist to headline Tomorrowland in 2022, will bring that intense trance sound that fans crave in this current resurrection of melodic EDM. Most anticipated is rapidly rising artist, John Summit, who recently released his debut album Comfort In Chaos in July. After selling out his first full stadium show in 2023 to closing out EDC Las Vegas with fellow Chicago native Green Velvet this May, Summit is making his mark on the EDM world.
