Fresh off an album release, Taylor Acorn had fans singing and dancing their hearts out in Milwaukee, WI on September 27, 2024. The pop punk artist based in Nashville, TN joined Dashboard Confessional and Boys Like Girls on tour as a support act, and added a few headline shows of her own.
Taylor released her debut album, Survival In Motion, on September 13, 2024. The album explores themes of love and loss, learning and growing, and letting things go to be the bigger person. In a press release from Taylor, she shared that she feels like she has “finally found her sound,” and has “fallen in love with every single song.” Her excitement about these shined through on stage, bringing up the audience’s energy level. Her stage presence radiated her confidence in being more comfortable in her sound and portrayed the growth she sings about in the album.
The setlist for this show included songs from the new album, as well as some fan favorites. She kicked off the show with “Final Nail,” from Survival In Motion, later going into “High Horse” and “Nervous System.” After an acoustic set of songs, “People Watching,” and “Birds Still Sing,” Taylor’s team joined the band on stage to celebrate guitarist Ricky Jab's birthday.
