The Beaches Bring The Party to Dallas, TX

On October 4th, 2024, The Beaches turned The Echo Lounge into a whirlwind of pop rock unstoppable girl power. The Toronto-based band, known for their gritty yet polished rock sound, lit up the stage with a charisma that had the crowd hooked from the start.

Their intro began with “Cigarette”, “Fascination”, and “Want What You Got”. They were energetic, giving kicks and hops across the stage as Kylie and Leandra quickly switched sides multiple times.

The chemistry between the band members was 110% obvious. Kylie Miller’s guitar solos, with Eliza’s fast drumming and Leandra Earl’s dynamic keys meshed well together into a fun, electric sound. It wasn’t just their music that stood out, though. The Beaches were not afraid to get close to the crowd as they stood up on the speakers and stared deeply into many lucky fans' eyes. Their banter between songs was light-hearted and fun, showing off their down-to-earth personalities.

“I heard Dallas is known for their party girls.” said Jordan, causing the crowd to cheer in response.  “I wish all my exes lived in Texas,” said Leandra.

The Beaches’ blend of alt-rock, indie pop, and punk vibes were especially fun to hear live, during songs like “Desdemona” where Jordan’s vocals were on full display.

The Echo Lounge, with its intimate size and cozy vibes, proved the perfect venue to showcase The Beaches’ raw power. Fans up front were able to lock eyes with the band, and you could tell they were feeding off the energy of the packed house. The sound quality in the room was on point, allowing the band’s guitar work to really shine. The lighting design enhanced the mood, switching between vibrant colors, giving the look of the show more drama. At one point, their name flashed up in beautiful rainbow colors.

The band wrapped up with “Edge of The Earth”, and “Blame Brett”. The Beaches left Dallas buzzing with their electrifying performance, showing once again why they’re one of the most exciting pop rock bands in the scene right now. For fans of unapologetic, high-energy performances, The Beaches are definitely for you.
